Tower Grove Heights Neighborhood Association has partnered with the South Grand Community Improvement District to adopt the northbound bus stop near S. Grand and Juniata!
Adopt-A-Stop is a bus stop sponsorship program where businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to adopt neighborhood MetroBus stops. The goal of the program is to keep bus stops – and the communities served by MetroBus – clean, attractive and free from litter.

Ann Stanley receives the Matt-the-Cat Award
February 28, 2017
Ann Stanley has stepped up in a big way to become involved in Tower Grove Heights. Not only is she is a regular attendee at neighborhood events such as Autumn Fest, Heights Nights and TGHNA meetings, she has volunteered to serve on the Social, Safety, AND Communications Committees. As a single person who has previously rented in various neighborhoods, she knows how rental tenants are sometimes discounted. Because of this, Ann suggested TGHNA reach out to our neighbors who rent. Recently she walked the entire neighborhood hand-delivering over 400 flyers that she created to invite our neighbors who rent to get involved with TGHNA.
As a city planner, Ann has lent her knowledgeable background on the Safety Committee and she has also volunteered to work on our website with plans for updating to make it more dynamic and visually interesting. ” Congratulations, Ann!

Rich and Jean Iezzi
are honored with the
2016 Inaugural
Tower Grove Heights Neighborhood Association
“Neighborhood Hero” Award
and the
2016 Nextdoor “Neighborhood Hero” Award
Rich and Jean Iezzi represent the model of welcoming, friendly and engaged neighbors. They worked tirelessly to turn around the neighborhood in the late 1980s when it was deteriorating due to unchecked crime and loss of population to the suburbs. They helped to start the second iteration of the Tower Grove Heights Neighborhood Association (the first one was founded in 1908) and have continued to serve the neighborhood in many ways. They have instilled the ethic of supporting the community in their children, one of whom served as a TGH Block Captain, for many years. They have purchased and rehabbed many properties in the area and remain strong supporters of the TGH Neighborhood Association, providing memberships to their tenants to encourage these new residents to become engaged with the neighborhood and involved in the neighborhood association.
Rich serves as the volunteer editor of the multi-page quarterly neighborhood newsletter, the Gazette, which is delivered free of charge to every household in Tower Grove Heights. In this role, he not only writes articles but solicits ads to keep the endeavor self-sustaining. Recently, he helped erect a “Little Library” at the corner of 3600 Juniata. For the past two years, he has volunteered to attach the “Most Members” signage indicating the winning block of the annual Membership Competition. He regularly attends neighborhood meetings and events and along with Jean, is a true ambassador for our beautiful neighborhood!
