The Sixth Annual Tower Grove Heights Neighborhood Association Autumn Fest will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Once again, a few Tower Grove Heights homes and gardens will be open to welcome neighbors and friends of the Heights. It should be another great evening of food, drink, live musical entertainment, and horse-drawn carriages along Spring Avenue.
First stop: 3831 Juniata Street, where you will be able to pick up your nametags for entry into all three homes. There will be live music featuring harpist Aimee Showers Lin from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m., hot and cold appetizers contributed by area restaurants, and a five-variety wine tasting offered by Gustine Market.
Second stop: 3710 Humphrey Street, for homemade desserts and coffee.
Third stop: 3806 and 3810 Utah Place (backyards), for live musical entertainment from 7:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. by guitarist Gen Obata and friends, and wines for purchase by the glass ($6.00) or by the bottle ($20.00.)
Advance registration is $15.00 per person, and registration at the door is $20.00. To register in advance print out the information flyer and registration form and send your registration with payment to Claudia Seifert, 3710 Utah Place, Saint Louis, MO 63116.
The Tower Grove Heights ("TGH")
neighborhood is a 12-block area within the
south-central area of the city of Saint Louis. We
are nestled in a corner of the Tower Grove South
neighborhood (15th
ward), a larger
politically-designated area within Saint Louis. Our
boundaries are shown below.

|
|
|
Surrounding
Neighborhoods: Directly to our west at Gustine is the Oak Hill neighborhood, with whom we share a northern boundary, (Tower
Grove Park). Oak Hills is bordered on its west by Kingshighway, and extends south to Chippewa. Tower Grove
South continues from our southern boundary of Utah Place. A six block, shared segment of the Grand South Grand Business District, forms our eastern boundary with the Tower Grove
East Neighborhood.

|
We have a wide variety of single
and multi-family dwellings, most of which date back
to the earliest decades of the twentieth century.
Renters, owners, and rehabbers all enjoy the unique
period architecture and quiet, tree lined streets
in the middle of the city.
