Volunteer to Become a Block Captain
Today
Block captains are
action-oriented individuals who use their
observation, listening, communicating and
problem-solving skills to work with their neighbors
for the betterment of the community.
|
- Work with your neighbors for
the betterment of our community, while always
treating them with courtesy, dignity and
respect.
- Be an active member of Grand
Oak Hill Community Corp. and encourage others to
join as well.
- Attend monthly block captain
meetings and share information with your
neighbors.
- Be a point person for
residents on your block linking them to
available resources.
- Keep an eye on the block,
acting accordingly with everyone’s safety and
well-being in mind, and encourage your neighbors
to do the same.
- Welcome new neighbors to the
block, while encouraging all neighbors to get to
know one another.
