More progress on nuisance and
problem property cases in the neighborhood. Also,
yard waste trash pickup will be reduced to once a
month (3rd week of the month) until March.

patio on Grand & Wyoming. Joe Thele will be
appearing, in full Grinch getup for photos with
kids big and small.
Wine bar is now making good progress toward its
grand opening
Retail interest is strong in South Grand
locations

CompSoft location on Grand: the
dinner theater is back on track for a February
opening.
Commerce Bank on Grand: the bank is planning to
remove their old building, put up a new retail
space and build 60 parking spaces between their
current location and the new building. Commerce
Bank will maintain the parking for access to all
CID uses.
Mangia's patio: efforts to convert the alley next
to Mangia (on Grand) into an open air patio are
still in the permit process
South City National Bank: residential development
plans are still proceeding
Paving of alleys are scheduled to begin in the
spring. The City Streets Division is working with
MSD to minimize sewer difficulties during paving.
The list of alleys to be paved in 2005 will be made
available in January.
Gustine cobblestones: The considered opinion is
that they are too pronounced to be be just a speed
delimiter, but are a hazard. Any possible
reconditioning of the stones will not take place
before April
