Alderwoman Jennifer Florida |
- Only one problem property is currently
listed in the neighborhood
- When you report one, call 911 and let
them know if you are calling about a property and if you
have called repeatedly
- Recurring bad behavior regarding problem
properties can be addressed via the
City's Board of Adjustment
- McDonald's on Grand & Chippewa may be
restricted to its current location but they will keep suing
to get it moved
-
South Side Tower: "Secure parking" will be coming; this
will not be an issue with the Melba building since secure
parking is available inside

|
Neighborhood Stabilization Officer Brian Wilson |
- If there is a nuisance property, give him
a call
- Some sporadic graffiti but nothing that
is a major problem
- Roosevelt students may create some issues
as the school becomes a magnet school next year
- Don't overfill dumpsters; if you need
more space, a larger one may be available
- Watch out for rust on buildings; this is
an actionable code violation
- If your dumpster is rusting out, give him
a call
- What is a derelict car? Inoperable
and a hazard to drive; unused doesn't qualify, it has to be
a safety hazard
