  • Seniors have special programs to get some tax relief
    • Circuit Breaker: immediate tax relief but there are very low limits on how much the property owner can earn
    • Homestead Program: Higher income limits than the Circuit Breaker program, but there are many more and complex restrictions to this program, relief is only for a certain amount of an increase in taxes, and relief will be awarded at a much later date
