Emily Andrews from SLACO: about neighborhood walking groups
  • Get some exercise while spending time with your neighbors
  • Meet at Connecticut & Spring, Mondays & Wednesdays @ 7pm (this time may change in the future)
  • Walking information for Tower Grove Park is now also available
  • Mary Addams from the St. Louis University School of Public Health presented brochures on health and safety while walking

Dave Difani from Blackthorn Pizza

  • Seating will soon be expanded to the second floor, almost doubling existing capacity
  • Hopefully the kitchen area will soon expand as well

  • tickets $10 in advance and $15 at the door

Adam Pashea from Erato Wine Bar

  • They will be furnishing 8 wines for Autumn Fest in the Heights
  • The rooftop patio on the Dickmann Building is available for special events, parties of up to 40 persons
  • Private wine tasting rooms are also available

Michelle Maples from South Grand Community Improvement District

  • The owner of Gulf Coast Seafood is relocating to Taft and Gravois
  • Sameem's Afghan restaurant has already opened in the old Gulf Coast space on 31XX Grand
  • Fifi's will be moving to the loop
  • Mangia will be expanding in the next two months; their new area will feature fine dining and less of a bar atmosphere
  • Their new Lemongrass Restaurant location will open in September
  • In the old location, the American eclectic will be moving in during the Fall.

Alderwoman Jennifer Florida

  • South City National Bank (@ Grand & Gravois) project keeps expanding and now includes 2 buildings and possibly a parking lot at that corner
  • The McDonald's at Grand & Chippewa is still making some headway in its attempts to relocate across the street
