all categories is up; this reflects what is going on along
the main roads and in shopping areas
- Protect yourself: be aware of your
surroundings, and do not leave items in plain view in your car

- Use outdoor lighting around your home, it
is a deterrent to criminals
- Ladies' purses: discourage criminals,
hold it close to you, and put on the shoulder strap
- Use clubs for your car, they are still
available at Grand

Bike St. Louis will be expanding south of
Tower Grove Park
with a route through our neighborhood linking us to South
City
- Plans are being finalized for Grand
improvements from Arsenal to Utah Place: new trees, sidewalks, and signals. TGHNA members voted to draft a letter
of support for this project.
- South Side National Bank (tower at
Gravois and Grand) soon begins interior renovations.
As part of that project, renovations to the store fronts
across Grand should begin in 18 months.

getting trees for your front yard and having the City pay half
the cost to replace broken sidewalks (50/50 program)

next to Me Kong as a banquet center
- In order to
address customer requests, they plan to soon open up the
space which has been closed for ten years, and would
appreciate the neighborhood's support of this project
