home in Grand South Grand(GSG). Both he and his
partner Jeff like the opportunities afforded
them by their GSG location
- Chris has already had a big
impact on eaters in St. Louis. He comes to
Jasoom from Catering St. Louis, the St. Louis
Art Museum, and he helped establish The
Boathouse in Forest Park.

improv troupe continues their shows at St.
John's Episcopal, 1st and 3rd Fridays of the

- Membership is up, and now
they are seeking funding their master plan

have a "St. John's" inspired coffee blend so
look for it soon

- There have not been a string
of incidences at Gravois plaza that is just a
rumor; there was just one and a lot of
confusion.

- The concerns expressed at
the last meeting over the activities on Humphrey
have been addressed. If anyone sees anything new
let him know.

- Morgan Ford is growing.
There are many new retail businesses
opportunities popping up just to the west of the
neighborhood. They will shortly be forming a
business association.
- Condo development in the old
South City National Bank (at Grand &
Gravois) has secured a $1.4 million TIF to cover
20% of the cost of the development.
- There are also programs to
develop the Melba Theatre at the same
corner
- Police are implementing a
change in patrol procedures. Instead of only
responding to calls, they are more proactively
participating in what goes on in their
neighborhoods
