  • Those with problem properties should sign in at the end of the meeting. Problem properties are defined as those which are vacant for a long time or have behavior-related incidents. Unkempt properties do not qualify; overgrown properties are the concern of the Forestry Division

  • Auto clubs are available from her office and at the meeting for $10 cash
  • Town Hall Meeting; Q&A with Mayor Slay; June 14th @ 6:30pm, Carpenter Library at Grand & Utah
  • The Board of Aldermen are now in session
  • Southside bank redevelopment project with Grand-Oak Hill Community Corporation may close in six months
  • Questions on construction permits: permits may expire, they are for a limited time and do not continue forever. To report violations, contact the City's Building Division.

    • Landlord / tenant cases brought in the City,
    • Civil suits which have been brought,
    • Also, current criminal cases, cases resulting in a criminal conviction, and criminal cases involving a probation violation but not a conviction.

  • Historical tax credit information will be available from Daryl
  • State budget update: the small amount of excess revenue will be applied to increasing the funds available for state employee payroll and schools.
  • Sen. Dougherty is running for minority leader and is looking for community support
